Introduction Emergency departments (EDs) in India face heavy patient loads, uneven access to specialists, and frequent delays in diagnosis. AI triage in Indian emergency departments uses machine learning to prioritise patients quickly speeding up diagnostics and helping clinicians focus on the sickest patients first. This case study looks at Qure.ai's qER deployment at Baptist Christian Hospital (BCH), Tezpur, Assam, alongside supporting evidence from other AI triage pilots.
